  • why would they care about the s&p rally? they care about risk-adjusted return.

Alternative investments generally do a better job competing with stocks when the risk of the various investments is taken into consideration."
  • yup OJ, i read it. the editors select titles to be misleading, but sensational of course. if your plan's goal is total return over the market cycle with the controlled volatility to get there, why the hell you would 'miss the stock rally' (or orange juice sale, for that matter). fa/jr
