  • Thanks OJ,

Here's my suggestion...a "Buy America Bond" program for Greece :

Greece's greatest assets are its vacation real estate properties. Greece needs to put together an "own a piece of Greece" bond program. The government structures a "timeshare vacation" bond program that provides a timeshare stake in return for a week...a month...a year...a retirement life in Greece. These "timeshare bonds" are 50 or 100 year bonds that would help pay off Greece's debt today and provide a mechanism for Greece to repay the bondholder debt through it countries assets...in this case, tourism, retirement living...even medical tourism.

These timeshare bonds could be bought buy individuals, countries, or institutions. The property owners collects a management fee for the use and upkeep of the properties. A portion of this fee is collected by the government to pay the bond holder...Problem solved. Vacation...retire in Greece...Let's party!
  • Hi bee,

I will get a reply (hopefully by Thursday) to you; per your "boat" question....just a quick stop here at the house and away again for a few hours.....schedule too packed.

This ad is being put in place on German television to help sooth the citizens; and to let them know they are first in line for the tourist locations.....that they will be paying for in Greece.

    Take care,
    Catch
  • Well, photos & stories like this one don't exactly inspire confidence either.

  • You have such a negative attitude! We should encourage all of the politicians to strangle themselves/each other. What's the downside?
  • Reply to @hank: Awhile back there were outburst like these in Taiwan and South Korea parliament. I believe these actions are more personal than anything else even though they were funny at that time.
