HA Hawaiian Holdings

Old saw: How do you become a millionaire? Start as a billionaire, and invest in airlines.
But Hawaiian is bucking the trend. Gawd, if only I had the money to put into this stock 8 years ago... Still no dividend being paid, though, I see.

Do any of the airlines pay a div?

Would rather own the rails. Or would rather invest in Boeing than airlines. Some of the airlines have certainly figured out their niche and have done well though. Long-term, I dunno. It's not that people aren't going to fly, but I think it becomes people are going to get tired of being nickel and dimed or treated like cattle ("This is your captain speaking, we're going to uhhhhh...need to be here on the runway for....uh....another few hours) and what companies figure a way around that.
