This Morning

Today is not starting out very well at all. The ISIS just killed the American journalist they were holding. Breaking on BBC now.

Bastards.

  • I hate to sound this way. I don't like it. But these fundamentalist, jihadist monsters must be exterminated. It's bad enough to be ignorant. They want everyone else to be ignorant WITH them. SCREW 'em. Or, as Stonewall Jackson said in reaction to the looting of the Federals before they vacated Fredericksburg: "Kill em. Kill 'em all."
  • There are monsters like this all over the world. Always have been and probably always will be. While I would be more than happy to see these cockroaches exterminated, the only way I imagine we'll ever minimize the problems these people cause is by having a world united against them. As long as they have places to hide, and people to provide them with weapons and money, they will always find a way to flaunt influence far beyond the insignificant value of their human being.

It would be very nice to see a strong reaction from our President. He traded terrorists to "save" one American life, and in this case it would set a very good example if taking one American life incurred a very large and very long term cost.
