M*: Is Your 'Balanced' Fund Bringing On The Junk Bonds
This has been a concern of mine as some of the balanced funds that I hold seem to be using low quality bonds as the bond sleeve in their respective portfolios. I hold PGBAX and BAICX, both using low-quality bonds, and BERIX to a lesser extent. Unfortunately, *M doesn't have updated information on BERIX's bond style.
