Hi Max- well, according to at least one man's opinion (see Maurice), maybe those poor nuns should have been fired on the spot. After all, we know that there was a long line of professional and knowledgeable replacements ready to jump into the breach for those wonderful salaries that teachers command.
I've know Maurice all of my life. "Don't throw money at it!!" Something for nothing, that's the ticket! Who says there's no free lunch? (Except maybe at the Rotary Club lunches...)
