    FYI: If you are on Social Security, officially the cost of living hasn't risen in two years. On the other hand I'm old enough to remember when a nickle bought a good sized candy bar, a quarter a loaf of bread or a quart of milk. Pabst Blue Ribbon for $1.20 a 6-pak. And ya hauled it all home in a nice new full sized car bought off the lot for under 3K.
