My doc at the Clinic was very animated in his animus towards insurance carriers and the ACA. He indicated that his team spends an inordinate amount of time in trying to gain coverage for patients for situations similar to mine. He indicated that the ACA fell short...he said that it should ultimately be a single payer solution, which would solve untold problems from his perspective.
Interesting, particularly from a doc at one of the best facilities in the country.
@PRESSmUP, Maybe one day a flat health premium and a flat income tax...two area that should work hand in hand from a cost perspective and be far simpler than they are today.
