Texas Educators Grapple With Push to Arm More Teachers
So armed and probably unexperienced and terrified teachers should step up to take a shooter out which trained police officers, probably skilled, probably wearing body armor and likely with backup would prefer to wait around outside because they are unwilling to do so. Great plan.
That is NRA's talking point. Teachers are already under-paid. Now they want them to take on additional life and death risk as armed teachers. That is absolutely nuts!
