National Popular Vote Interstate Compact

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Popular_Vote_Interstate_Compact

Have I mentioned it here before?
Basically, the Measure would not ever go into effect until the total number of Electoral votes reaches 270 among the States which have approved it. It would not matter WHICH States they are. At the moment, those States adopting the NPVIC bring a combined 195 Electoral votes to the table. 270 are needed to win an election. We are 72% of the way to get to 270. The purpose of the Compact is for those States who approve it to instruct their Electors to vote for the winner of the nationwide popular vote. So, the majority wins. Holy cow, what a concept!!!!!
