Lyn Alden interview. Almost 2 hours. (Disregard the click-bait style caption.)

edited September 13 in Other Investing
Lyn Alden is knowledgable and engaging and erudite, actually. Not the first time I've heard her. Trans? I dunno. Forget about it for now. I never heard of the interviewer before. I just bumped into this. The last 1/3 or 1/4 of the time was all about bitcoin and crypto, so it left me disinterested because I'm against that stuff on principle. Alden doesn't like to take political sides, but gave good answers to some pointed questions.

Investing? Given what she says is the slow-motion, long-term, "un-crisis" (my word) in the value of the dollar, she recommends a three-legged stool in a portfolio:

1. high quality equities.
2. hard money commodity producers. Precious metals, miners, oil. Real Estate.
3. Cash equivalents.
Alternatively, use some bitcoin.

Proportionalize it all to taste.
