Mutual Fund Quiz: I Have Managed This Fund For 30 Years The Answer
This fund bares the original symbol of a brokerage house when I started managing it back in 1983. Since then it has had a couple of name changes due to brokerage house acquisitions. What's my name ? Answer tomorrow morning Regards, Ted
Thought of John Neff of Vanguard Windsor looking at your heading but then I saw the begin date as 1983. I think probably you are talking about Jeff Bruce of Bruce fund.
The Answer Is: Richie Freeman; The Fund symbol SHRAX, the' S' standing for Shearson Lehman Brothers Aggressive Growth Fund, then Smith Barney Aggressive Growth Fund, and now ClearBridge (Legg Mason) Aggressive Growth Fund. Regards, ted

My guess is Bill Miller of Legg Mason Value Trust (LMVTX).

I looked at that one too ... but, went with LMVTX ... Good Luck!
From review of the Fact Sheet, linked below, on WPVLX ... The stated returns don't match Ted's for 1997, 1998 & 1999.
