Sup. Court limits judges ability to halt Trump re: birthright citizenship
This case focused on whether federal judges have the authority to issue nationwide injunctions. The Supremes, in a 6-3 decision, ruled they do not. The legality of denying birthright citizenship was not addressed.
A discussion on Here and Now earlier today went to the more difficult route of getting a class certified for a class action suit on the matter, as a workaround. Otherwise, the decision (referred to as "preposterous" by a knowledgeable interviewee) sets up the probability of a Constitutional right being recognized only in some, not all, states.
