A whole bunch of crypto stuff is mentioned including investing in other crypto ETFs. It's unclear what it adds beyond several crypto ETFs already offered by ARK - spot-Bitcoin ARKB; other ETFs with crypto futures and companies - ARKA, ARKD, ARKZ.
Notably, ARK initially co-filed with 21 Shares for a spot-Ether ARKE (not a valid ticker now), but it withdrew from that and 21 Shares re-filed it as CETH (valid ticker now) that got approved in 2024. ARK and 21 Shares continue to cooperate on many ETFs. I had been wondering what was ARK up to in its crypto lineup. It seems that this "active" crypto etf may be just a feeder etf for its other ETFs. Of course, the prospectus won't mention any such thing.
