Not-the-mainstream-news media is reporting that "never-crypto" Vanguard is now considering offering crypto ETFs on its brokerage platform.
Not on the mainstream media yet, but not denied by Vanguard either.

They need to offer products that the 'new generation' of investors want in order to remain competitive and attract customers ..... times have changed, for better or worse.

Just searched for some currency etfs looking for one to hold as a small diversifier. Bunch of different cryptos came up. ”Foreign” to me for sure. I’ll stick with FXF. Good as any.
  • If I want to own crypto (and I do own some BTC) I will buy the actual product, not an ETF derivative.
  • Big crypto ETFs have 25 bps ERs.
Bitcoin - IBIT (AUM $84 billion), FBTC ($22 billion)
Ether - ETHA ($15 billion), FETH ($3 billion)
These can be held in regular brokerage a/c.
