Hooray to Minnesotans for setting an excellent example in neighboring.
  • A great piece of reporting and interpretation. I've always admired Thomas Friedman's work.

Great piece by TF. The good people of Minneapolis and Portland and other places are bright spots in this bleak time and place. Other bright spots are environmental, public health, ICE-tracking, public interest law, and other nonprofit warriors. There are so many fronts on this fascist assault on our country, but the forces of sanity are fighting back nearly everywhere.
  • And the lower-levels of the judicial system are doing their best too.
  • Friedman was a guest on one of the Sunday political shows; methinks it was Meet The Press. Worth the few minutes of your time if that interests you.
