Y'all know I'm a retired Minister. The way this guy reads his bible and uses it to steer his political decisions is a mountainous pile of excrement. Still pushing the Lie: that Trump won in 2020. In fact, if you did not realize it: This HOUSE SPEAKER is 3rd in line to the Presidency. And he himself ORIGINATED a legal Amicus brief signed-onto by about 100 other scumpigs in The House, related to a Texas court case which sought to overturn the election result in that State. And he is the... HOUSE SPEAKER.

    I do agree with you, but at least today he managed to get a gov't financing bill through the House, which will likely get signed by the president. Looks like we're safe for a couple of months, anyway.

    Surprised if the Senate goes along. Good news.

    I'm pretty sure that the Senate will go along- at this point no one wants the blame for shutting down the US, and the White House has indicated that they will accept the deal, grudgingly.
