The Social Security Administration (SSA) is celebrating the passage of the One Big, Beautiful Bill, a landmark piece of legislation that delivers long-awaited tax relief to millions of older Americans.
The bill ensures that nearly 90% of Social Security beneficiaries will no longer pay federal income taxes on their benefits, providing meaningful and immediate relief to seniors who have spent a lifetime contributing to our nation's economy.
“This is a historic step forward for America’s seniors,” said Social Security Commissioner Frank Bisignano.

This link I found as part of yogibearbull post (Budget Highlights for Taxes - CNBC) at 'Other Investing'. I suppose we won't know the finalized 'real stuff' until the tax code writers are finished with the language and numbers.
The email from 'Frank Bisignano' is inappropriate and I believe illegal in it's written form.
still along the same lines, but at least this is cheaper than the taxpayer paid immigration ads ...still the highest rated MAGA entertainment from what gop polls show.
this SS email was so critically important, it was the first i (currently am non-SS eligible age) have ever received other than the yearly 'check your summary' . propaganda trumps priorities.
in addition to being less than transparent,,, is highly political."
Yes, this was strictly a political missive.
Social Security Commissioner Frank Bisignano sent the letter with an intended audience of one person—Trump.
---The newly sworn-in head of the Social Security Administration told agency staff this week that when he was first offered the job in the Trump administration, he wasn't familiar with the position and had to look it up online.
Frank Bisignano, a former Wall Street executive (Fiserv) , said during a town hall with Social Security managers from around the country on Wednesday that he wasn't seeking a position in the Trump administration when he received a call about leading the SSA.
"So, I get a phone call and it's about Social Security. And I'm really, I'm really not, I swear I'm not looking for a job," Bisignano said, according to an audio recording of the meeting obtained by ABC News. "And I'm like, 'Well, what am I going to do?' So, I'm Googling Social Security. You know, one of my great skills, I'm one of the great Googlers on the East Coast."

"I'm like, 'What the heck's the commissioner of Social Security?'" said Bisignano, who now oversees one of the largest federal agencies that's responsible for distributing retirement, disability, and survivor benefits to more than 70 million Americans.
From what I’ve read, however, this temporary “relief” is also going to make SS even more insolvent than it already is.
I’m too young for social security and didn’t receive the email, but this CNN article seems to indicate the partisan nature of this email.
SS is still taxed
