May be the question to ask is which billionaires are without media outlets? Some media control is probably self-protection for them - not just in US, but overseas too.

As The Washington Post’s slogan used to say, democracy dies in darkness. Today, darkness is closing in because a demagogue sits in the Oval Office and so much of America’s wealth and media ownership is concentrated in the hands of a few people easily manipulated by that demagogue.

The heart of the problem is that we have a snake at the top of the chain for 3 more years.

It's been tougher to trust news reporting in the U.S. - almost better off relying on certain foreign news formats. Sad.
