Why are we screwing over Cuba? What have the people of Cuba done to deserve this?

    @gman57- sir, that is the exact question that I asked my wife over dinner the other evening. Cuba hasn't done anything to us in a decade or more... sure, we don't like their form of government, but so what? Why do we even care?

    Apparently we are now no better than Russia, attacking other countries, VZ and now Cuba.

    This is just a guess but here goes. A. It’s an easy target. B. Weakening the Cuban regime rewards S. Florida Cuban ex pats who have been loyal repugnants. C. In the before times it was fashionable for GOP presidents to be hostile to socialist countries.

    It is not Cuba but the problem is the Florida vote with its long-held grudge about Cuba.
