@gman57- sir, that is the exact question that I asked my wife over dinner the other evening. Cuba hasn't done anything to us in a decade or more... sure, we don't like their form of government, but so what? Why do we even care?
This is just a guess but here goes. A. It’s an easy target. B. Weakening the Cuban regime rewards S. Florida Cuban ex pats who have been loyal repugnants. C. In the before times it was fashionable for GOP presidents to be hostile to socialist countries.
