The show runs about 34 minutes, with the Supreme Court portion starting just after the 9 minute mark. Select the 'CC' icon to provide captioning for those who may be hearing impaired. No, he won’t quit Supreme Court and Chief Justice Robert’s cannot fire him.
Thomas has been doing this for a long time. Not reporting these gifts as income to the government ethic oversight is a serious problem. Wonder if he report these as gifts in his tax filing.
That is a lame excuse. Any credible tax preparers would require to report all income sources beyond his government salary including gifts and free trips. These are sizable $ and not several hundred dollars. The Thomas intentionally hid these free gifts.
Roberts also objects to Congressional oversight on supreme count justices earlier this year.
