  • Yup. Dandy Don, Monday Night Football. But of course, he did not himself compose the lyrics.

    LOUD start.

..This development, joined with the nationalization of the Calif. National Guard on the Streets of Los Angeles to be used AGAINST the people of that city, have brought me to a moment where I am going to simply stop everything and weep. ...But what if the Party says 2+2=5? What THEN, Winston?
  • @Crash I'm away to sleep land very soon; but the last report about 11:11 EST is that Mr. D.O.D. is now considering active duty military. Me thinks he wants to test the waters and play 'martial law'. This would be fine with his boss. Hope he's having a 'dry' evening, and that he understands impacts of his powers.
  • Thanks, @catch22.
They do this illegal, unlawful junk, then they gaslight the public and blame it on the natural public outcry as to why their NEXT crackdown is so necessary. I suppose it's an old playbook. But I've never seen anything like this in the USA, nor have I ever learned about any such junk. What Lincoln did re: habeas corpus and the rest of it was during a CIVIL WAR. But right now, it's the GOVERNMENT waging war upon its people.
  • Well, maybe at least half  it's people.

    Yes. Agreed.
  • They are looking for dead people who are filing for tax return and collecting social security. Absolutely ridiculous!
  • I dunno... I'm gonna give that a good try!
    :)
  • @Sven Or appending the records to show many dead people collecting benefits. Remember they also have access to the Treasury records and could match SSA with Treasury issue check records (also modified). So, if nothing else, they increase the distrust of the government. (People like me that rather liked government before now.)
  • is this better or worse than getting messages from security software that your SSN was found on the dark web?
  • None of these are any good. Several months ago, we froze our credit lines when we were notified that our SSN were exposed in the dark web. Right now, we monitor our credit reports carefully.

Getting access to one’s social security record can also extend to your health records, at least for those who use Medicare insurance. Those in private insurance plans will remain private.
