Propaganda platform PragerU is primed to capitalize on Trump’s PBS cuts
What I see happening, including this garbage, is causing me to be just utterly demoralized. I suppose it is all baked-in, all part of their plan. "Flood the zone." A blitzkrieg of assaults upon democracy, upon public institutions, upon the levers of gov't. Upon people of goodwill.
I have listened to some of Jordan Peterson's round-table discussions centered upon the Book of Exodus. (He presented a prior solo series on Genesis. It's really brilliant.) Those videos were well worth my time. He does have some erudite, very learned people around that table, but would I include Dennis Prager in that bunch? He is there, in the midst of them. Erudite? Anyone spouting and standing for such a blatantly Right-wing propagandist position on today's issues has to be automatically suspect. Those guys all pretty much reject even a thing as basic as the notion of the Common Good. For them, it's all about the individual. And we know that worldly, personal success depends a great deal on being able to market yourself, negotiating skill, being at the right place at the right time, and whether or not you've inherited any money. (Can't take any credit for THAT!)
Personally, I cannot subscribe to all of the "woke" stuff. Some conservative arguments do make sense to me. More and more, I carry around a mixed bag of opinions and positions in the public square. But more and more, these ultra-Right wing warriors remind me of the arguments used to justify black slavery in this country. Let it go! Give it up!

End of rant.
