60 Minutes 11-16-2025 expose' on Trump's $2 Billion pardon
While many here were focused on PBS' American Revolution on Sunday evening, I wonder if anyone caught the first segment that aired on 60 Minutes in a competing time slot. It is a doozy of a story about how Trump's pardon for the president of Binance resulted in a huge reward for World Liberty Financial, an arm of the Trump empire. The events that 60 Minutes tied together and put on display for all to see epitomized the corruption of FOTUS, all at the expense of American taxpayers and the rule of law.
am sure this crypto scam has well-normalized into the background of larger scale grift, none of which gop voters can distinguish from trump's indisputable business genius.

Yes, but here's the killer, I think: WHERE would they be able to do that "crushing"?
Trump has the benefit of the WH "bully pulpit". He's the president, he makes the "news", he gets the coverage.
Where exactly would the Dems find an equivalent platform? Relatively few people watch broadcast TV, the internet and cable information sources are splintered into a zillion different "channels".
That kinda leaves what, billboards and occasional appearances on PBS News Hour?
OJ, that's the major problem since Nancy Pelosi stepped down. Schumer is not a leader - he is not widely respected. Schumer cannot punch back.
The Dems don't have somebody with the balls that Nancy had. They better find that person. No AOCs, no far left wackos - must be close to center (center-left). With cajones.

You're making the Repugnants' case FOR them. Granted, about half---maybe more---of the American electorate is as dumb and uninformed as a box of rocks. Or is it hammers? Not to mention the prejudices they hold and the brainwashing they've invited upon themselves. Rocks or hammers, either way.
Nevertheless, "moderate" Dems (Fetterman?) are like pistols poised to shoot oneself in the foot. And I'm really pissed at Angus King, I-ME. You noticed, surely, that Bernie (I-VT) did not cave.
Hey, Joe Blow: how much more will you have to pay for medical insurance when January rolls around?

If the Dems weren't so damn clueless, they would use info. like this to crush the Orange man-baby.
From "The Boxer." Simon & Garfunkel.
All lies and jest
Still, a man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest.
