When I was a youngster, my aunt had a place by the shore at Black Point near Niantic. familiar territory. I've been back and forth too many times to count. The New Britain minor league baseball team was moved and became the Yard Goats! Lots of broken promises on that little scenario.

  • Playing For Change. La Bamba.
  • Nice choice.

Cannot recall if I posted this. Amanda Shires on the violin is superb.

Yes, she and J. Isbell are a pair. He got clean for her. That's a great one! Those two other guys always play with Brandi Carlile. Of course, years ago she spelled it with a "Y." But no one took her seriously. (LOL. Stolen from "Cheers.")

Ms. Popovic plays some nice guitar and has a good voice for bluesy music.
    The band is tight.
Are you going to see her perform at the Blue Note?

Absolutely! Bring the wife. She will probably just endure it, though. LOL.

I was introduced to her music many years ago and saw her perform one night with a bunch of other guys in a huge warehouse-like space at a location in the middle of nowhere, near the border junctions of MA-VT-NH.
  • From Tonga? Cook Islands? I do not know. But I enjoy it!
