  • I agree, Low Spark is an excellent tune. Hard to believe that the album was released in 1971. I still have it.

Blown away that this didn't draw a huge crowd:

I love the guys comment, "Oh, I want violin on everything."
And man, can he play guitar, while multi-tasking.

The first half of this (Lonely Boy) is a Black Keys song.
The second half is obviously the Stones.

These guys are one kick-ass street band!

Big Head Tod and the Monsters spared us that "Brandy" version when I saw them LIVE, a couple of years ago. ;)

"Cortez" is wonderful stuff. And the fiddle on "Simple Man?" Delicious.
Glad for the introduction to The Big Push.

LOL - Brandy might be one of the few easy-listening tunes that I actual like. Probably, because I was 12 years old when it hit the airwaves. And it got a LOT of airplay. Anyone a little older would have already been into harder rock. A year later, I was listening to Rare Earth, The Who, Styx, The Guess Who, Stones...
  • Iam Tongi covers "Cool Down."
  • @Crash Nice segue to the Island sound. It helps when it has been around zero here for weeks.

If you enjoyed the violin in Simple Man, you will love this:

O My Holy GAWD! You're right, that's hot. "Don't Wanna Fall In Love..." Brings to mind the Tom Waits tune. I'll post it below:
  • Tom Waits: "I Hope That I Don't Fall In Love With You."
  • "Franklin's Tower." Grateful Dead. (Blues For Allah album.)
  • I'm rather late to the party. I only learned to enjoy the Dead about 4 years ago. Best thing since Jesus Christ or sliced bread.
