How do I know the Trump agenda is working?
The more hatred, personal insults (which are not allowed on this site), and foul language I get, the better it’s going.
You can always count on the usual accusations—Nazi, racist, killing democracy.
The above have been repeated for decades, and the Democrats have used them skillfully.
It says more about the accusers than the accused.

It's more than a month old but still a common sense decision (link).

"Sometimes we must judge a man by the politicians that he admires. And sometimes we must judge a man by the fact that he doesn't give a damn if his country is being destroyed as long as he makes money on it. Sometimes we call such a man a cretin."

    And you responded:

"The more hatred, personal insults (which are not allowed on this site), and foul language I get, the better it’s going."

Now sir, since I didn't name anyone in my observation, the only way that you could regard that as a "personal insult" is if you recognized yourself in my description of "a man".

"For more than 35 years, Armenia and Azerbaijan have fought a bitter conflict that resulted in tremendous suffering for both nations… Many tried to find a resolution… and they were unsuccessful. With this Accord, we’ve finally succeeded in making peace,” said President Trump.

President Trump is the President of Peace. As President, he has brokered peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Cambodia and Thailand, Israel and Iran, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, India and Pakistan, Egypt and Ethiopia, Serbia and Kosovo, and with the Abraham Accords.

Looks to me like a great candidate for the Nobel Prize for Peace. The chances he will get it are slim because of TDS.
Of course, Obama got it for a fake cause. He received the award in recognition of his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples,".
  • Hmmm, sounds like someone has ODS.

Once again alternative facts from BS1000.

Trump was not directly involved in brokering peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The major ceasefire agreements were mediated mainly by Russia, with some later engagement from the EU and the U.S. under the Biden administration.

And Trump said there would be peace between Russia and Ukraine day 1. Right?

And do you remember Trump saying that if the Israeli hostages were not released prior to his inauguration, there would be all hell to pay in the Middle East?.

You are as much of a fraud as Trump.

Coincidently, I just read the following Reuters article regarding the recent rise of white nationalist groups.
Doesn't president Trump have a solemn responsibility to encourage peace and civility in our own country?

American Nazis: The Aryan Freedom Network is riding high in Trump era

“Even as he has made inroads with non-white voters, Trump has consistently drawn support from white nationalist and extremist groups while using racially divisive rhetoric.
He promoted the false claim that Barack Obama, the nation’s first Black president, was not born in the U.S.
In his 2024 campaign, he suggested immigrants commit violent crimes because “it’s in their genes,”
a remark condemned by many as racist.”

Several trends have converged since Trump’s re-election, Reuters found.
Trump’s rhetoric has galvanized a new wave of far-right activists,
fueling growth in white supremacist ranks.
Trump’s pardons of January 6 rioters and a shift in federal law enforcement’s focus toward immigration
have also led many on the far right to believe that federal investigations into white nationalists
    are no longer a priority.”

“And the boundaries of the far right itself are shifting. Ideas once confined to fringe groups like the Proud Boys –
who helped lead the January 6 siege – are now more visible in Republican politics,
from election denialism to rhetoric portraying immigrants as 'invaders.'
Trump’s public support and pardons for far-right figures helped normalize those views, the researchers said.
As the Make America Great Again movement has come to define the party’s identity,
the line separating the far right from mainstream conservatism has grown increasingly difficult to draw,

    they added.”

“Steve Bowers, another Klan official at the ceremony, which didn’t involve AFN,
said he isn’t a fan of Trump because of his administration’s close ties with Israel.
But he said many white nationalists are fully behind the president.
'People think he’s going to save the white race in America,' said Bowers, dressed in a white KKK robe and hood,
decorated with two blood crosses on the chest.”

“At the restaurant in Oklahoma, asked why he believes his group is gaining momentum,
Stout offered a simple explanation.'Our side won the election,' he said.”

"Looks to me like a great candidate for the Nobel Prize for Peace."

The only Nobel "prize" that Trump truly deserves is a stick of dynamite—invented by Alfred Nobel
who established the Nobel Prizes—inserted into his anus and subsequently detonated!
  • Yes, they did. And FD1000 is right there with the goons in the white robes and hoods. Anything goes, as long as he makes his money.

There was "hell to pay" - 18,000 dead Palestinian children. Many from starvation. Trump and his cohorts are welcome to take full credit.

Some people see only the half-empty glass when they don’t like the party in power.
I was highlighting a success — I never mentioned Israel or Russia.

It doesn’t matter whether the current administration contributed 40% or 80% to the ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia. If it worked, that’s worth celebrating. And if it was so easy, why didn’t Biden do it?

BTW, Russia opened a war against Ukraine during Obama and Biden but not Trump.
In about 3 years, military casualties
Russia: More than 700,000 killed or injured, according to a January 2025 estimate. 48,000 missing.
Ukraine: 400,000 killed or injured, according to a January 2025 estimate. 35,000 missing.

A Nobel Peace Prize should be awarded for real peace, not just talk.

And bringing up things like costly eggs, Nazis, or tariffs in response is just deflection.

Why is this so difficult to understand?

Or, you do understand but can't accept the facts?

  • Trump sycophants don't understand the concept of "facts". To them, "facts" are anything that they decide they are.

    From David's link

"First, look at the chart. The second line claims that it shows “medium income” — a term unknown to economics. Clearly it was supposed to say median income.

OK, speling misteaks hapen. But not, usually, in charts prepared for a presentation by the President of the United States."

Clearly they have neither proofreaders or economists on staff. Just a few fellows with Sharpies who make posters.

A fellow who purviews all sorts of nonsense here has said, many times, that we should disregard those who have been wrong before. Time to "disregard" Trump and his Econ staff?

I am very well aware of the many economic screw ups that have emanated from Stephen Moore. "it seems safe to assume that his bizarre inability to get any facts right, culminating in Thursday’s Oval Office debacle, has been consistent."

Moore, along with Kudlow and others, co-authored an anti-tariff oped during the first Trump debacle. It was titled, "Tariffs are Taxes".

    @FD1000,

Did you read my post regarding the rise of white nationalism that coincides with Trump's election?
This is hardly a peaceful movement!
Matter of fact, many of these "very fine people" despise Israelis.
Are you not concerned at all about the groups' virulent hatred?
