Not gaming much on the post season. Hard to watch a complete game. Most of the announcing has been good, but they lose me when they bring in the player’s teenage fantasies, first-date, pets, grandparents, favorite movies. Stick to the fantastic execution of plays, types of pitches, managerial decisions, base-running techniques, etc.
From what I read one of the announcers of Cubs - Brewers game caught hell from both of the teams fans. My BIGGEST grip, background noise, way to loud for my liking. One other grip, playoff games starting at 8:08 CST. Go Brewers!!
Yes. NOISE events. They've become noise events. It sucks. I watched a couple of games at the tavern and restaurant, with sound muted. It was... lovely. Yanks are out. Utterly humiliated by Toronto.
@Crash Dodger starting pitcher did a job on brewer hitters. Yet one hit short in ninth inning & Brewers would have won. Another bull pen attempt by Milwaukee.

Whoa! I checked the Wrap-up. I saw it was tight tight tight.
Payroll & injuries were to much for Brewski to over come! Has anyone seen a pitching roll out with the likes the Brewers put out there to play the game!? Hard to think they beat the Cubs for the chance to play the Dodgers.
@hank I think his . Shohei Ohtani, interpreter helped him invest !!! It didn't work out for either one !!
I remember that @Derf. Who knows what really transpired there? He’s certainly an amazing player. Can’t remember anyone quite like him. I recall Babe Ruth started out as a pitcher. But he hit so well they took him out of the rotation and used him as a fielder (probably outfield).
Larry might remember the Tigers using some of their fielders to pitch late in games after emptying their supply of relievers. I think Kaline did so once. And a third baseman who I can’t remember. (Steve Boris?)

Brewers off to a bad start 0-3 first inning
Clayton Kershaw is a Hall of Famer. His potential final act was a disaster

LOUD start:
“Two years ago, the Los Angeles Dodgers spent more than $1 billion in the span of a couple weeks to sign Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto.”
Hope Ohtani and Yamamoto read MFO so they know how to invest all that money!
WSJ Link (might work)
