One otherwise constructive frequent poster seems to frequently suggest death to the President with the statement "Is he dead yet?" I feel this is wrong for many reasons and might actually incite someone less responsible to act out the implied threat. I have flagged the comment several times. Do the monitors here condone such comments?
Would any of us have tolerated this veiled threat to be made repeatedly against former President Obama or Biden or candidates Harris or Walz by Republicans on our forum? I think not. It's hard to make a case of wrongdoing against one's opponent while stooping so low. Please stop.
@hank Surely you know the difference between a question and a threat. My question is a wish in all sincerity that we could be rid of the current occupant of the White House, or what's left of it; No East Wing any longer. There are Republicans, though they are few and far between today. Then there are Repugnants. Then there are Democrats, and a tiny bunch of us who can't vote for either Party's candidate. I've always had disagreements with the policies and decisions of both Parties. Orange One is clearly um..... UNIQUE, if I were to choose to use a deliberate understatement. More accurately, he is evil, and we would be better off without him. Let it be by natural causes, not anything done TO him. Sooner, rather than later. I'd just like to know ASAP if his end has come. I have a special bottle of wine at hand with which to celebrate that moment.
