  • @Crash Quarterly earnings report for ET, tomorrow, Tuesday; may provide a better picture going forward.
  • Added to FPNIX in IRA. Was considering an add to an individual agency bond, but want more flexibility to sell if needed, so went with FPNIX, which has over 75% in securitized bonds. Intend to enter the 10-yr treasury auction in the morning.

True. I put in the limit order on last Thursday, overnight.
  • Took 1/10th of my QQQ shares off the table. Putting the proceeds in cash for now, may sell more.
  • Bought GDL for my CEF basket priced at a 22.75% discount to NAV. Sold CPZ which appeared fairly valued.
  • Purchased the 10-yr treasury at auction, and swapped MHYSX for TIAA’s version of Inflation-protected bond fund, and Vanguard Total Bond fund. MHYSX was a recent buy but decided I wasn’t in need of additional high yield, so traded it in for lower risk.

Next, ex-div date on 09 May, '25, Friday. Since earnings, the stock price has soared. I expect a drop on Friday. Mr. Market continues, as ever, to overreact in the short-term. Always the short-term. And always overreacting, whether to good or bad news.
